It all started with a drunken night out after my friend Jeff had just gotten his first tattoo. He asked, "why can't a tattoo shop tattoo babies? They probably won't be traumatized by it." For some odd reason I couldn't stop laughing, hence a wallpaper was born.
Back at the dawn of the internet, I had a Myspace page - if you go there it's probably almost done loading. I thought I would have a contest, the winner would get a personalized wallpaper for their computer. My friend Heather was the winner so I asked her if she could open the business of her dreams what would it be called.
Another idea that started with a night on the L.A.N. playing multi-player first person shooters. I don't know if it was the two bottles of Old English we each drank, or the multiple bottles of Jolt Cola we drank, but that didn't stop my friend P.J. from discussing how he was going to fix the country. This wallpaper is a way of getting him back, being forced to listen to his half- drunken, caffeine fueled, political rant.
I created this for my independent study classes, it's obviously a Parody of Coke-Cola. At the time when I created this, I was playing a lot of World of Warcraft. I think it encapsulates the simple lines that Coke uses in all of their advertising - the simple, fluid motion to portray a feeling of refreshment.
I created this for my independent study classes, it's a parody of Smart Water. Smart Water in my opinion is a very minimalist company, at least when it comes to their advertising. Much of it usually uses a lighter blue, but since this is a parody, I tried to update it with bolder complimentary colors.
